NEW DEAD BOSS.
Pretty satisfying to kill this one. That is not a fun boss with all the healer stacking and potential for burst damage ruining everything.
Fortunately after some good progress last week and a few really close pulls earlier this week (and a raid canceled on Valentine’s Day… I know, right?), we were able to put it all together and kill Empress in just a few attempts tonight. Had time to familiarize ourselves with Protectors afterward, so now the race is on to see how much we can get done before 5.2 drops.
Oh, and here’s another kill shot where you can’t really see anything beyond spell effects, a tentacle, and a herd of fire cats.
