Heroic Will of the Emperor!

Will of the Emperor is slain!

After working through the fight for a couple nights and figuring out what worked for us, the final encounter in Mogu’shan Vaults is done.

With that out of the way right before the holidays, we’ll probably have a slow week or two as people have all sorts of plans for travel, family gatherings, and parties. Once we’re back to our usual schedule we’ll be getting right back into the new heroics waiting for us– and picking up right where we left off!

Heroic Spirit Kings!

New week, new bosses to work on. Tonight the Spirit Kings were defeated on heroic, despite all their best attempts to remind us of Omnotron.

With that down, it puts us at 5/6 for heroic Vaults. One more to go!

Heroic Wind Lord Mel’jarak!

Well then! We’re kind of on a roll here this week.

After Blade Lord on Tuesday and Elegon on Wednesday, we decided to give our best shot at getting heroic Wind Lord down this week too. As it turns out, our best shot was good enough to get it in one night! 18 pulls and we were able to finish off him and his pals.

Three new heroic bosses. Definitely a good week.

Blade Lord Ta’yak and Elegon!

So after the raid yesterday I forgot to immediately post this update, and as it turns out we sort of killed a new heroic boss in 8 pulls… so DOUBLE UPDATE.

Last week we set out to work on heroic Blade Lord in Heart of Fear, and despite a few close wipes we weren’t quite able to finish him off. However, we knew we had the fight under control and went straight there on Tuesday to make sure he died. Sure enough, it took 2 pulls to kill him on Tuesday with the work we had already put in last week. Pretty satisfying kill, and according to WoWProgress it’s the 66th US 25-man kill.

And so with that dead on Tuesday, we came into Vaults today and decided to try Elegon on heroic for the first time. Set things up, had a couple wipes to charges not dying, sorted all that out, and after a grand total of 8 wipes the sparkle dragon died. Congratulations to everybody on a great two days!
