New boss kills, as promised.
After putting in a night or so on Fallen Protectors last week we went back in this week and finished them off Tuesday.
After Protectors, it was on to Norushen! Spent Wednesday working on that and came back in on Thursday with some tweaks and several low-percent wipes to finally get it nearing the end of the night.
UNFORTUNATELY, we were in such a rush to get to work on our farm clear that we forgot a screenshot. This will have to make do:
And so Siege of Orgrimmar begins. Heroic Immerseus down after not very many pulls. Protectors to come next week and hopefully more!
Ra-den has been killed and with that, heroic Tier 15 is fully cleared as of August 4. Great job everybody on finishing up this final boss, even if he doesn’t *really* feel like the final boss. Not too bad for an extra boss although the ability to skip the anima phase does make the fight feel a little simple.
All thing considered, this has been a pretty great tier for us. With that kill, WoWProgress has us at US 75 for 25-mans. That’s a solid finish for us, and it feels pretty good to wrap up the tier with some time to spare before Siege of Orgrimmar comes out.

The Thunder King has died! We finally killed Heroic Lei Shen on Sunday, putting us at 12/13H and just one Ra-den away from finishing the Throne of Thunder.
What a fight. Very impressive job by Blizzard on combining personal responsibility, raid coordination, and raw numbers into an encounter that actually works as a “final” boss. That said, I could live with it if they never again made a fight that absolutely required 2 death knights (or else you might as well not pull the boss).
Congratulations to everybody on sticking it out and putting in the time to get this down. Lots of frustrating wipes and some nights with not as much progress as we’d all like to see, but in the end we got it and it was all worth it.
