Al’akir down!

After a crippling snow storm and getting some time together to work on Al’akir among our other goals, he went down pretty quickly this week. Great job all and possible illustration by Ponzonatron, Guardian of Cenarius to follow!

Heroic Halfus Wyrmbreaker

So on Tuesday this week we went into Bastion of Twilight and killed a dragon. Well, a couple dragons and a tall guy with a club. It was… interesting. Everything was going alright and then one by one our tanks started dying.  But fear not! Ponzonatron, Guardian of Cenarius, was prepared for just such an occasion.  He taunted MANY THINGS and carried us to victory.  Behold, Ponzonatron beastmode:

As you can see, Halfus never stood a chance.

After the kill we sort of were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of loot (nine items, really?) and forgot to take a screenshot.  As such, we went straight to the source and asked Ponzo to create an artist’s rendition of the fight for you.  What follows can only be described as a masterpiece (Click for full size- it’s worth it).

Welcome to Hero

Well, the holidays are over, we have a new front page, and hopefully everyone is over the new-expansion shininess. Time to get serious about raiding again.

Our relatively massive roster has thinned out a bit and we’re soon going to be working on heroics so we’re actually recruiting again—see the sidebar on the right for our current needs. If you’re interested in applying or learning more, check the About Us link here or above. As always, if you have any questions about Hero feel free to contact any of our officers in-game or via PM on the forums.

As you may also notice from that link, we’ve added Sunday as an extra raid day for progression.  We don’t intend to throw ourselves at a boss for 4 straight days, but at the moment we only have 1 day a week to work on new bosses so we think adding Sunday will really help.

Onward to finishing off the 2 bosses we haven’t touched yet and then working on those heroics.
