A bit late on the update, but videos to make up for it! Great job everyone and a picture prefect kill.

A single night of attempts and we killed the cats for our first heroic mode kill of the expansion. Onward to Feng!

Andddd here we are. Mists raiding has begun with Mogu’shan Vaults. All things considered, Blizzard seems to have made a pretty good instance to start us out.

The first week in Vaults, we cleared Stone Guard, Feng, Gara’jal, and Spirit Kings. We had a number of close calls on Elegon, but we couldn’t quite seem to put together the damage to meet the various checks (energy charges, protector spawns, the berserk). Still a bit too many blue items and some adjustments to be made with burst dps.

This week was a different story altogether, though. On Wednesday we went in and handled Elegon after just a few pulls. We then got a look at Will of the Emperor, came back Thursday, greatly improved at add control and combo-dodging, and managed to kill the final encounter in a combined total of 16 pulls. Next week we’ll get our start on Vaults heroics and hopefully keep up the great pace we set during the past two days.
