I was really, really hoping you people were just kidding about that.

Either that or one of you photoshopped something together. Deep fried butter and chocolate covered bacon?

I've heard of both of them appearing at the NC state fair. They always aim to give people heart attacks with their food. Among deep fried butter they've served deep fried snickers, deep fried twinkies, deep fried coke, and deep fried cheese curdles.

Why are people deep frying drinks? I wonder if people have ever deep fried everything a traditional Thanksgiving dinner would have. Couldn't possibly be more stomach churning than the Jones' soda Thanksgiving dinner drinks.

If I ever see the thanksgiving soda I'm going to buy it, in my mind it's just a bottle filed with gravy and turkey remnants.

Not to be a necro, but stuff like this came up again in guild chat last week. A restaurant called Heart Attack Grill opened here in Dallas sometime in the past couple months. Marketing madness: people over 350 pounds EAT FREE.

They call patrons "patients" and waitresses "nurses". Here's a link to their website so you can see what's on their menu, and other info.

I realize we have several people from Texas, but this is why the state should really just be nuked from orbit.

Yeah they featured that place in Manhattan on Man vs. Food. And yes, Viper, it's the only way to be sure.

Pssh, you guys have it wrong, the Sun orbits Texas. The only clear solution is to nuke the Sun out of orbit so the Earth dies then Texas can just secede from the Earth and live on.

Blame where the restaurant got its beginnings, not us! I read someplace that Dallas was the second opening, with the first being in Arizona, but I think the Arizona spot was closed. Next up, Las Vegas. Can you imagine how much they'll rake in there? Vegas is the best place for gimmick restaurants, and unhealthy habits.
