Hero - Burning Blade Horde

After a few nights of work and healers being awesome we can add another heroic to the pile. Great job all!

We started out with this guy right after killing Morchok but AS IT TURNS OUT, he’s a bit harder. Especially on 25-man. But after killing Hagara, we decided we’d put our work so far to use and finish him off. 10% wipe last week in the midst of the holidays, 3% wipe yesterday, and dead early on today.

This will wind up being a short raid week with the holidays getting close, but fortunately we went in Tuesday this week and killed Hagara. After plenty of wipes to lightning conduit randomly deciding not to jump 5 yards to the crystal, pets deciding they wanted us to die, frostflake resists actually dropping ice patches, and ice tomb markers simply not showing up on people, she’s finally dead. As it should be.

With Dragon Soul finishing up early this week we’ll probably also go back to Firelands and get ourselves some more staffs.

Onward to new bosses next week.

First night of heroics and Morchok went down for us pretty easily in the first half of our night. We did have quite a few fraps the fight so as the videos get together, I’ll be adding more below!

Oh hey.

It’s been a pretty busy week with 4.3 coming out.

We’ve been steadily making progress on Heroic Ragnaros over the past couple months, with a 12% P4 wipe just the week before 4.3 hit. While they stealth nerfed the geysers, our kill on Wednesday was pretty enough that it easily would’ve been a kill pre-patch. Oh well, onward to new content!

We started Dragon Soul this week of course, and tonight we finished off Madness of Deathwing so heroic mode should be available for us to start working on next week. Overall the instance so far has been pretty simple so hopefully they step it up in the heroics.

Screenshots maybe at some point. I’m not sure anybody thought Deathwing was epic enough to warrant it.
